2-Day Ayurvedic Eye and Stress Reset in Kollam for Screen Fatigue

Duration: 2 Days
Location: Kollam, Kerala, India
Program Type: Residential Program
Format: English, Malayalam
Program Overview

A 48-hour Ayurvedic reset in Kollam with specialist eye care, restorative therapies and a Munroe Island sunrise.

If your days move between laptops, phones, meetings and constant visual attention, even a weekend away can end up feeling like more stimulation.

This is a two-day Ayurvedic recovery experience in Kollam, Kerala, created for people living screen-heavy and demanding professional lives.

The weekend begins with an individual consultation, followed by a carefully arranged sequence of specialist Netra eye-care practices, head and face massage, Nasya, Abhyangam, Sirodhara, Padhabhyangam, meditation and periods of supervised rest.

A three-hour sunrise boat journey through the backwaters of Munroe Island creates a deliberate break from screens and structured activity on Sunday morning.

Rather than trying to fit an extended retreat into a busy calendar, the program brings guided Ayurvedic care, rest and nature together in one focused weekend.

Highlights

Signature Experiences

Distinctive moments that give this journey its character and depth.

01
Signature Experience

Specialist Netra Care

A sequence of Ayurvedic eye-care practices is selected and supervised by Dr Aswathy Krishna, an Ayurvedic Eye and ENT specialist. Across the weekend, the experience may include Pratimarsha Nasya, Anjanam, Refresh Netra Kizhi, Netra Sekam and Netra Abhyangam. The focus is on offering the eyes a deliberate period of care after demanding visual routines and prolonged device use.

02
Signature Experience

Sirodhara

A continuous stream of warm Ayurvedic oil is gently applied over the forehead while the participant rests. The program includes one Sirodhara session on each day, creating two dedicated periods of quiet, stillness and sensory withdrawal during the weekend.

03
Signature Experience

Abhyangam

A traditional full-body Ayurvedic oil massage using warm medicated oils. Saturday includes Abhyangam, while Sunday's session is followed by herbal steam. These sessions create space for the body to slow down after long periods of work and sitting.

04
Signature Experience

Padhabhyangam

A focused Ayurvedic foot massage offered toward the end of the day's therapies. The slower pace and tactile attention make this a grounding transition before meditation and evening rest.

05
Signature Experience

Guided Meditation

Guided meditation with Mr Harikrishnan C closes each day. Rather than adding another active practice, the meditation allows participants to sit quietly with the slower state created through the day's therapy.

06
Signature Experience

Munroe Island Sunrise Journey

Sunday begins with a three-hour guided boat journey through the backwaters of Munroe Island. There are no screens or scheduled therapies during this period. The intention is simple: early morning light, water, quiet observation and uninterrupted time away from digital input.
